About

I’m Abbie. Yes, my “headshot” is just a rare selfie I took in my truck. With my dirty cooler, my messy eyebrows, tired eyes, messy hair, etc. Please, don’t be overwhelmed by the amazing professionalism! I just live life as casually and as comfortably as possible.

Why did I start this site?

Because I got sick. Honestly, I’ve always felt “off” my whole life, but symptoms I could really pin down and have doctors take seriously didn’t start until my 40s. At age 48, I’ve got small fiber neuropathy, dysautonomia, hypothyroidism, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, and chronic widespread pain that they just can’t pin down. (“Likely hEds” or “prodromal MS”….you know how it goes)

Before all of this hit, I was a maker. A creator. A crafter. For awhile now, I’ve let the illnesses win. My inspiration was just nowhere to be found. BUT, as most of you know, these illnesses rob us of so, so much and I was just done letting it take anything else from me.

All that to say, I put together a list of things that help me stay creative and work to add things that may help others with situations similar, but different to mine. From chairs that adapt to fit our needs, to devices that assist in grip control while painting, to heating pads and compression socks….the list goes on.

They aren’t one size fits all when it comes to meeting everyone’s needs, but I hope that you’ll take a look around and find something that makes you smile.

And, hey, if you have any product suggestions that I should add or any suggestions to make my site more user-friendly, please reach out!

There are affiliate links throughout my site. When you make a purchase, I get around 3% of that total at no additional cost to you. I appreciate you!
